A guide to planning a unique Couple Photo session

A couple’s photo session isn’t just about weddings or engagements; it’s a celebration of your love at any stage. Imagining capturing moments in places that hold a special significance to you both – on a boat on the lake, in your favourite part of the old town, a merry-go-round or in somewhere more quirky like a car breakers yard or a museum. Wherever you chose it will reflect your personalities and be unique to you.

Before the session I will send you a PDF full of info and ideas to inspire you and help plan your photo session. It has loads of tips from previous clients and photos to inspire ideas. The car breakers yard and museum I mentioned above – both happened – if you can get the permission we need then lets get organising !

Don’t worry about what to wear, there’s info in the PDF, just opt for clothes that make you feel confident and comfortable. Maybe even bring along a change of outfits – that way you can have a relaxed comfy jeans and favourite top look and then a killer heels stunning dress and sharp suit option too. Props you say ? Definitely – balloons are a favourite, bubbles can be fun, a gorgeous summer picnic makes a great backdrop. Bikes – an excellent idea! Fancy bringing your beloved pet with you ? why not – lets see what we can do.

As your photographer I aim to create a relaxed fun atmosphere where you can just ‘be’ and not worry about the camera. A lot of people, in fact virtually everyone in these photos, started by telling me that they weren’t really very confident – so please don’t worry, I will guide you at the start with ideas for poses etc and with in 10 minutes tops you will be coming up with your own ideas.

What happens after the session? You get access to a gorgeous password protected gallery so you can choose your favourites. There are beautiful layflat photo albums, stunning and versatile portfolio boxes, stylish frames …
