I have been looking forward to AI & H’s wedding at the Abbaye de Talloires for ages and it was worth waiting for – it was fabulous!!  They are an amazing couple and make you feel as though you’ve known them and have been friends with them for years.  AI looked so completely stunning in her beautiful Pronovias dress with her beautiful happy smile and her gorgeous peony and rose wedding bouquet created by the very talented Anne from Arome .

AI & H’s MAGICAL ABBAYE DE TALLOIRES WEDDING

The happy couple had decided on a ‘First Look’ so that they could spend more time with their guests at their wedding cocktail. So at the appointed hour a very handsome looking H in his dress uniform stood waiting for his beautiful bride at the bottom of the steps of the Abbaye and after a quick peek out of the window she joined him to start their wedding day ! The happy couple wandered up to the beautiful little church in Talloires surrounded by their guests where they were piped into church by a bagpiper. After the moving ceremony the couple left the church under a Guard of Honour from their collegues – amazing and just one of the fabulous surprises of the day! The next surprise was the speed boat – a little tour around the Talloires Bay at speed, with much hilarity as I tried to stay in the boat, before arriving at their wedding cocktail in style! Sparklers, brilliant speeches and surprises from friends and family, chinese lanterns floating away over the lake, a fabtastic display of sabrage to start the champagne fountain and a fabulous flash mob dance routine … a really memorable and magical wedding ! Huge thanks to you both for asking me to photograph such a very special and happy wedding day !
