Gorgeous colourful wedding Chambery - Photographe de Portrait & Mariage

I knew this wedding was going to be beautiful as soon as I saw the invitation which was designed by a very talented friend of this brilliant couple. The bright colourful feeling was present all the way through the wedding – the details to the flowers on the tables at dinner. All the gorgeousness was just waiting for me to photograph it when I arrived at the house near Chambéry and soon after the radiant Bride arrived and wow what a fabulous smile she has ! A very proud Mum helped her very beautiful daughter get ready for her Big Day, and her equally proud Dad was waiting for her to start the day.

GORGEOUS COLOURFUL WEDDING – CHAMBERY

Everyone was waiting for the happy couple outside the village Mairie and after the official administrative ceremony the whole wedding party strolled through the village to the “Sanctuaire de Notre Dame de Myans”, an amazing church built on two levels. The service was beautiful with music and choral song by friends and family, and some of the music written by the groom – how impressive is that ? Coming out of the church the newly weds were met with a cloud of colourful confetti and music from the bagpipes. What a fabulous start to an amazing day.

Bagpipes, confetti and smiles now thats a fabulous way to leave the church ! The wedding was in a picturesque little village near Chambery and that meant that instead of everyone jumping into cars to travel to the wedding cocktail the whole wedding party was piped back to the venue down country lanes and across vineyards. After a quick glass of bubbly we left the guests for a short time to capture some beautiful couple shots in the golden light and stunning countryside. I remember that they laughed a lot together when we did their engagement shoot last year, and it was just as brilliant this time. That done it was time to party and enjoy the wedding cocktail provided by Fred Reception Traiteur, a delicious relaxed cocktail in the sunshine around the pool. I left them as everyone headed into dinner and a delicious hog roast !
