Gloriously glorious is the simplest way of summing up this magical wedding day ! R&D chose the Abbaye de Talloires as the backdrop for their beautiful wedding, they have been coming to the picturesque little village of Talloires for a few years now so it was only natural that it play such an important part in their wedding celebrations. It was a a fabulously happy moment as R & her 4 bridesmaids got ready at the Abbaye – a great playlist, champagne and a lot of laughter. The ceremony itself was at the Eglise Saint Maurice in Talloires and the beautiful bride, her very proud Dad and bridesmiads walked up through the village to join her family and friends and of course much more importantly to say ‘Yes’ to her wonderful groom. Happy times.
GLORIOUS ABBAYE DE TALLOIRES WEDDING
A wonderful emotional ceremony given by a family friend for a gorgeous couple in a picturesque lakeside village, admit that it is all pretty perfect as amazing weddings go !. The gorgeousness continued for the couple shots down by the lakefront – first of all on the Talloires ‘ponton’ which we miraculously had to ourselves for the 5 minutes we needed, then a beautiful stroll along the lakeside to a ridiculously narrow footpath leading to one of the best views of the bay … it also holds a very special place in their hearts. A beautiful wedding cocktail in the gardens of the Abbaye de Talloires complete with adorable twirling bridesmaids and a lot of smiles and it was time for me to leave them to party on into the night.
Dear R&D thank you so much for choosing me for your wedding photography, it was a treat and a joy to be a small part of such a very happy day. All the very best for an amazing future together !
