Every single wedding I photograph has it’s own magic – every single one is unique and special and amazing for hundreds of different reasons. The very lovely and gorgeous C&B had planned their wedding ceremony for the Temple in Chexbres but my day started with C’s preparations and the luxurious Grand Hotel du Lac in Vevey – and oh wow did she look amazing. A dream lace wedding dress from Pronovias, a beautiful bouquet but most importantly the most gorgeous smile which stayed throughout their truly beautiful day. I was fortunate enough to photograph her sister’s wedding a few years ago so I was really really flattered when C&B chose me to photograph their wedding too, and it was extra special to see her sister’s children as bridesmaid & page boy to their gorgeous aunt and uncle.

GLORIOUS GRAND HOTEL DU LAC WEDDING – VEVEY

Now you have to admit that it would be very difficult to choose a more stunning backdrop for couple photos than in the vineyards of the Lavaux above Lake Geneva !  After their ceremony in Chexbres C&B chose a beautiful spot for their photos near the Domaine des Faverges. They are an absolute a dream to photograph because of the sheer happiness and sense of fun that seems to surround them. A quick glass of bubbly made from grapes grown less than a hundred metres away and it was time to rejoin their guests at the Grand Hotel du Lac in Vevey.

Family, friends, more bubbly, rose petals and laughter, a jazz saxophonist and an excellent Best Man’s speech set the tone for the rest of the evening – brilliant, gorgeous, fun and very very happy.

Such a very happy day – I will treasure the memory of it – thank you both, C&B, for entrusting me with your wedding photography I hope that these images and the others in your gallery will for always transport you straight back to the magic of your wedding day.
