SUMMER MOUNTAIN FAMILY LIFESTYLE

The biggest compliment any of my clients can give me is to recommend me to their family, friends and colleagues and that is exactly what happened here. This adorable family are friends of one of my oldest clients who recommended me and that is how I came to be photographing them on this absolutely glorious summer day.

As they are moving away from Switzerland they wanted photos of their family in THE most Swiss of Swiss settings and where better than beautiful Gimmelwald, gorgeous old wooden chalets and flowers and a stunning backdrop of mountains. Gimmelwald is the first stop on the cable car up to Schilthorn , the masses head on up the mountain and miss out on this absolute treat of a village with a lovely restaurant (book ahead of time), excellent beer, honesty shops and THE most stunning backdrops!).

TIP : This family were in the process of moving abroad and early afternoon was the only time they had available in their mad busy schedule BUT the light would have been much softer and kinder photography wise either early morning or even better can you imagine late afternoon with the golden light highlighting the mountain peaks in the background.
