T o say that this wonderful couple were surrounded by love and happiness as they celebrated their wedding would be an understatement – the atmosphere was amazing and even a rainbow came out to play! The bridal preparations were in a beautiful light filled room at Le Petit Manoir near Lausanne, whilst S finished her hair and make up I was able to photograph her fabulous Pronovias dress and other details – sparkles, pretty flowers and other gorgeousness.
BEAUTIFUL WEDDING – ST VINCENT, MONTREUX & LAUSANNE
Once ready the beautiful bride left Le Petit Manoir and we headed off to the stunning church of St Vincent, perched up on the hillside above Montreux … and that was where her lovely husband-to-be was waiting for her with guests and smiles a plenty! The church of St Vincent in Montreux was full of guests from all over the world and the very very happy & proud groom was waiting outside for S, his beautiful bride. The ceremony itself was one of the most moving and heartfelt ceremonies I have ever attended – led by the Pastor of their church and including prayers, singing and readings from close family and friends it was incredibly warm and inclusive. The weather wasn’t at it’s most helpful until we set off to the vineyards of the Lavaux and then we were treated to beautiful golden light through the storm clouds, and finally a fabulous rainbow against the dark skies – perfect.
We started their couple shots in a place very close to their hearts – the place they had their first date. How romantic is that !
As the fabulous rainbow faded it was time to drive back to Lausanne to the evening celebrations at Le Petit Manoir.
