[B]eautiful beautiful wedding time ! This fabulous couple had come all the way from Canada to celebrate their wedding with friends and family in his hometown of Veyrier du Lac, near Annecy. The bride and her best friends were getting ready together in a room full of laughter – the bride was simply sparkling with happiness and has a wicked sense of fun. She looked amazing in her beautiful dress designed by and for her, and then add in the to die for Louboutin shoes (how gorgeous are they !) and everything was set perfect for the day ahead.

BEAUTIFUL WEDDING – VEYRIER DU LAC, ANNECY

The French part of the ceremony was held at the Mairie du Veyrier du Lac (I’d never been there before and the setting and view over the Lake Annecy is breathtaking !). A full room of happy family and guests, a great speech from the Mayor, lots of cheering and it was time to head lakeside for their second ceremony … this time the Canadian one. The gorgeous wedding details for the second ceremony and the cocktail were magicked by the talented team from Majenia Design.

Part two of this scorchingly hot day of international celebrations was lakeside in Veyrier. In the time it took their guests to wander down from Veyrier Du Lac we took some couple photos with the lake sparkling in the background and the sunlight filtering through the trees, oh wow (yes I know, again) – just look at that infectious laughter. The official for their Canadian ceremony was a close friend which made it even more perfect. After that part of the day came to an emotional close the delicious cocktail by Traiteur Viret started. In the happy relaxed atmosphere some of their guests even decided to have a swim in the turquoise waters of Lake Annecy to escape the heat of the day and cool down before partying into the night.
