Beautiful Wedding at the Grand Hotel Kempinski in Geneva

How about this as an absolute perfect way to start the week ? This is a fabulous wedding for an absolutely adorable couple who are now home from honeymoon ! V& K were married at the beautiful Russian Orthodox Church in Geneva but the day started at the sumptuous Grand Hotel Kempinski Geneve.

BEAUTIFUL WEDDING AT THE GRAND HOTEL KEMPINSKI

Both V & K were getting ready at the Kempiniski which meant I was lucky enough to be able to photograph them both – V with her gorgeous bridesmaids, and K with his very dapper groomsmen. A wonderful tradition meant that K had to win the right to marry his sweetheart through a series of questions set by her bridesmaids … and once he succeeded his prize was the beautiful V looking stunning and waiting for him on the balcony overlooking Lake Geneva, an amazing first look.

Once they had left the Grand Hotel Kempinski Geneve the happy couple headed off to the Les Jardins Botaniques so that we could take their romantic couple photos, and a few with their bridesmaids and groomsmen too. Then the most important part of the day at the Russian Orthodox Church in Geneva. I love photographing weddings from different traditions and cultures and the Russian Orthodox ceremonies are very intense and moving, even though I don’t speak a word of Russian. The celebratory wedding cocktail was on the outside terrace of FloorTwo Bar at the Kempiniski, followed by dinner in the banquetting rooms. Huge huge Congratulations to you both – you are amazing and I loved every minute of your wedding, surely one of the happiest ever !
