A stylish May wedding - Fairmont Montreux Palace - Photographe de Portrait & Mariage

What a very very stylish wedding ! L & T were joined by family and friends from all over to world to celebrate their wedding at La Coupole, Fairmont Montreux Palace, an absolutely gorgeous venue on the shores of Lake Geneva. L and her close family were getting ready in a stylish suite whilst T was getting ready with his family and friends in another part of the hotel. I love it when the Bride and Groom are getting ready in the same venue because it means I can photograph both sets of preparation.

STYLISH WEDDING – FAIRMONT MONTREUX PALACE

I think it is fair to say that the weather was misbehaving big time but that didn’t alter the atmosphere of happiness one second and the silver lining was that we were able to use the stunning interiors of the Montreux Palace as the back drop for their First Look. Couples often ask about first looks and I think it is a wonderful way to spend more of your wedding day together – I know that sounds daft but the day itself zips past so quickly that it is an extra moment of time to just relax and enjoy the magic together. It was a beautiful moment to watch as T turned round to see his beautiful future wife walking towards him and they just smiled …perfect.

La Coupole at the fabulous Fairmont Montreux Palace was the setting for the “I Do” moment of L & T’s stylish May wedding. The guests waited for the happy couple and the beginning of the ceremony under the cheerful yellow canopy on the terrace of La Coupole ignoring the rain, and then the big moment arrived and L & T came in accompanied by their parents, big smiles all round. The beautiful service given by a close friend of the couple and was very moving, as was the reading by the Bride’s Mum. They are such a wonderful couple that it was no surprise that their friends and family were just as friendly and welcoming and their wedding cocktail was full of laughter and smiles. L& T thank you so much for asking me to photograph your wedding – it was fantastic to be part of it and I wish you both a very long happy and healthy life together.
